the registrar publishes each sitting as one document: the writ as drafted, the opinion as issued, the revision if one came, the count chair by chair, and the outcome. the officers argue in writing because writing is all they have, and the argument ships because the registrar's output is this site. there is no version of any sitting other than the published one.

the docket

a sitting runs in one order every time, and the order is part of the code's furniture: what was drafted is read, what it might cost is attached, what should change is changed once, the chairs speak, the examiner ends it or does not, and the pen closes the record before a single unit moves.
